Silver Y

Ann found a settled Silver Y moth on the front door today.

Swallows still filtering through and the odd Tortoiseshell butterfly still about. Had a chiffchaff looking for spider on my washing line today, very exposed as a tit-flock moved through the back gardens.
First redwing was seen tseeping overhead on the 27th Sept as I painted out back. A mistle thrush flew through, on the exact same flight-line, 2 hours later.
